Cringo is played with a Cringo Tickets. Each Cringo Ticket has 9 randomly chosen numbers on it. The objective of the player is to strike out each of these 9 numbers. You score runs every time you strike out a number; and there is a bonus for completing each row and for completing the ticket. The number can be struck out only by answering the corresponding trivia question on Cricket correctly.

Upon logging in you are presented various packs from which to choose your tickets. There are many free packs for you to play with and you can always purchase more packs. Packs are organized by topics. There is a pack about the Indian Cricket Team and its history, for example. Other packs are about players or tournaments. There's even an IPL pack for all you T20 lovers out there.

Once you start playing a ticket, the clock starts ticking. If a number that you have on your ticket is called you are asked a question based on the pack you chose. Answer correctly and your number gets crossed out. Answer incorrectly and you have to wait for that number to get called again plus you lose a wicket. Lose 3 wickets and your ticket expires.

You win Cringo Points for every number you cross out. Plus, there are additional points for finishing each row and a full house. The faster you finish the more points you get. And the higher you are on the leaderboards the more you stand to win.

And, what fun is having Cricketing knowledge if you can't beat your friends with it? Cringo allows you to challenge your friends and, if you're feeling nice, you can share some tickets with them too. It's all up to you.
